Age of the Dragons
The dragons are each unique creatures that share a few common traits. They are all giant creatures, larger than a dozen men combined. They breath fire or lighting or other destructive substances and have scales stronger than the finest steel. Their wings allow them to soar through the sky at great speeds. Tales speak of legendary warriors who sought to slay a dragon harassing their kingdom – and all end with a grisly death for the hero. Each dragon has a clan of kin that serves him, along with it’s children – called drakes – as well. During the great winter, they served primarily as food for the dragons in times of difficult hunting, but now that man has re-emerged to the surface, the dragons lead their kin against the cities of man – for what, if any purpose other than to wreak havoc – is unknown.
