Their detour to Wyvern Tor is successful. They are first spotted by an orc scout ahead of the rest of his group, but Vruk calls to him in Orcish. The scout calls the rest of his group out – armed, but not hostile. They talk, discover that the orcs are here in search of new hunting grounds. They have been driven out of their other grounds by another tribe that has been pressing into their area. They agree to abandon the tor and look elsewhere at the price of two cows. Additionally, they agree to assist the party in their exploration of Conyberry. The party then continues to Conyberry where they discover a Church of Etra still standing, along with a handful of other buildings. They find the door sealed – and sense transmutation magic on it – and some goodberries and a book written by someone named Riedoth detailing the area. They soon discover a graveyard with some undead gnawing at long-dry bones. With the aid of the orcs tossing javelins, they easily dispatch of the few ghouls. They spend the night in the church, briefly reading what they can in the book.
